Selling To Us By Post & In store
Customers must be over the age of 18 years to sell goods to us. All goods sent to us must be under your ownership and you must not knowingly send counterfeit or stolen goods to us. Items sent with stones will have the weight deducted in line with the weight of the stones. For items being sent in the post, please use Royal Mail Special Delivery and include the correct insurance. Please retain your receipt with the tracking number. We only accept items sent from addresses within the UK. Items are the customers responsibility until we have taken delivery. Items sent in the post without a completed Valuation Enquiry Form will not be processed and will be held for 28 days. If you have not contacted us during this time, we reserve the right to dispose of the items at our discretion.
Once we receive your items, we will test them to ascertain their weight and purity and we will then call, email or WhatsApp you with an offer. The offer given will be based on the relevant metal price for that day for scrap items. Offers may change, if not accepted the same day they are given, in line with the latest metal market prices and older quotes will no longer be valid. Items of no value to us will be sent back to you upon request. For items being sold to us in store, we will require one piece of photo ID to carry out the transaction. Other ID may be required. All sales of your items are final and once goods have been paid for they are then classed as our property and cannot be requested back.
When we receive your parcel, we will video the opening of it.
Payment
Upon acceptance of our offer, payment will be made by bank transfer if the items have been posted to us. We endeavour to make payment on the day the offer is accepted. We do not make cash payments by post. If the items have been brought into our store, depending on the value of our offer, we may be able to make payment in cash or we will do a bank transfer while you wait. When being paid in cash, it is the customer's responsibility to check all monies are correct before leaving the store as we cannot take responsibility for miss payment. When providing bank details, customers must make sure the details are correct as once payment is made, it is not reversible. We take no liability for customers giving incorrect information. We cannot make payments outside of the UK or to third parties.
Returning items
We are under no obligation to make an offer for your items and reserve the right to post them back to you. Items being returned will be insured at our perceived value unless otherwise instructed. If you require a higher insurance this can be done at your cost. We will return your items via Royal Mail Special Delivery which requires a signature by the customer. We are only able to post the items to the address you have specified on the Valuation Enquiry Form which should not be outside the UK, a PO Box address, a hotel address or a unit address. Royal Mail deliver to the UK only. We reserve the right to refuse to deliver to an address which may be deemed as being unsafe, unlawful, or unreasonable to do so. We are unable to accept responsibility for items delivered to a property of multiple occupancy. If an expected item has not been received, you must notify us within 24 hours of the day the item is expected. Once parcels have been signed for the goods are now considered your own.
